These aren't really thematic in any way, but if I don't empty out my recs folder it'll just keep piling up and I'll go crazy. Also this way I can pretend that by posting I have connected with the world in some meaningful way other than going to my cousin's to wear sweatpants and watch Sense and Sensibility.

So, I saw Harry Potter!  And it was good!  And funny!  Or maybe I just had a happy, laughing theater, I don't know.  It was very teenagery, the small dramas of it.  And I liked that there was an actual relationship between Harry and Hermione that wasn't totally based on homework and/or adventure  (at Hogwarts, these seem awfully interchangeable).  ( Read more... )
